Howard W. Bleiman, Founder and President of Williams Financial Corporation, founded the company in 1967. He had helped start the Life Assurance Company of Pennsylvania in 1959, but then, after serving as its Vice President for many years, decided to purchase a company for himself. In his search for an acquisition, he ended up finding opportunities for others. His first client was Automatic Data Processing (“ADP”), co-founded by Frank Lautenberg, currently the U.S. Senator from New Jersey. He helped to make three strategic acquisitions for ADP. Howard was also instrumental in the UGI Corporation’s (NYSE:UGI) goal to diversify into the industrial gas and propane business. After 13 acquisitions consummated for UGI/AmeriGas Partners, L.P. (NYSE: APU), AmeriGas has grown to be the largest propane company in the United States. Four decades later, Howard has developed lasting relationships with hundreds of companies and equity groups throughout the United States. He has unique expertise in various industries including, but not limited to: energy, food, health care, distribution, manufacturing and paper and packaging. Howard has a BA in Business Administration from Temple University.
Susan Bleiman Soll, Vice President, joined Williams Financial Corporation in January 1995. Prior to joining the company, Susan marketed wholesale American crafts in Japan and Germany for a specialty tradeshow producer. She also worked for the largest Japanese trading firm in both Tokyo and Washington, DC. While in graduate school, Susan founded a company that provided English language tutors for Japanese expatriates and their families. Susan brings research expertise to the company along with persistence and strong interpersonal and communication skills. She has worked closely with clients to identify niche markets and has focused on various industries including: health care, food, consumer products, dental products, and various manufacturing sectors. Susan has a MA in International Economics and Japanese studies from the Johns Hopkins University Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (“SAIS”) and a BA in East Asian Studies from The George Washington University.
