Williams Financial Corporation (dba The Williams Corp.) is an independent mergers and acquisitions firm focused on buy-side transactions. Our firm represents and is engaged by private companies, public companies and private equity groups who are seeking to acquire strategic or platform middle market companies. Platform Acquisitions

Through the acquisition of 13 companies, we helped a NYSE company grow a sister company which later became the largest propane dealer in the U.S.

Develop & Build Strategy

We worked with our Private Equity firm client to develop and execute a strategy in the analytical testing and industrial safety markets. The firm and the companies they acquired are currently leaders in their respective markets.

Add-On Acquisitions 

We assisted a medical billing company reach $200 million in sales partially through the acquisition of nine strategic add-on acquisitions. The company eventually went public.

Howard W. Bleiman

    Howard founded Williams Financial Corporation in 1967.  After serving as a Founder and Vice President of Life insurance Company of Pennsylvania for many years, Howard decided to purchase a company for himself. In his search for an acquisition, Howard ended up finding opportunities for others. His first client was Automatic Data Processing (“ADP”), co-founded by the late Frank Lautenberg, former U.S. Senator from New Jersey. Howard helped ADP expand outside of New Jersey through the acquisition of three strategic acquisitions. 


    Howard was also instrumental in the UGI Corporation’s (NYSE:UGI) goal to diversify into the industrial gas and propane business. AmeriGas (NYSE: APU), has grown to be the largest propane company in the United States partially due to 13 acquisitions Howard help consummate for UGI/AmeriGas Partners, L.P. Nearly five decades later, Howard has developed lasting relationships with hundreds of companies and equity groups throughout the United States.

Susan Bleiman-Soll

    Susan Bleiman-Soll,  President, joined Williams Financial Corporation in January 1995. Prior to joining the company, Susan marketed wholesale American crafts in Japan and Germany for a specialty tradeshow producer. She also worked for Itochu, the largest Japanese trading firm, in both Tokyo and Washington, DC. While in graduate school, Susan founded a company that provided English language tutors for Japanese expatriates and their families. Susan brings research expertise to the company along with persistence and strong interpersonal and communication skills.


    Susan has worked closely with clients to identify niche markets and has focused on various industries including: health care, food, analytical testing, industrial safety equipment and products, instrumentation, and various manufacturing sectors. Susan has a MA in International Economics and Japanese studies from the Johns Hopkins University Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (“SAIS”) and a BA from The George Washington University. She is an avid long distance runner having completed 28 marathons including 7 Boston marathons.
